How to Apply Your Sleep Cream

We all know how important sleep is for our health and well being, yet many of us will sleep on a mattress years past it's prime. But where does the real rubber hit the road - the modern diet and lifestyle. Both of these issues cover the nutrition and the mechanics, however the reality is that most of us don't appreciate how poor our sleep quality has become. The change in our hormone levels from the time we were teenagers when sleep came so easy has left most of us wondering...
What is it really like to have deep sleep again?
With SleepyFields sleeping cream we can help you find the perfect night of sleep, but we are going to need your help. If you do NOT use some type of sleep monitoring device or application, we would highly encourage you to do so. Being able to see your sleep history is far more economical than you may realize. Some people learn that they already own devices that can provide some metrics, such as their CPAP machine or Apple watch.
If you are not going to rely on objective third party data, we would ask that you use our sleeping cream daily for at least three weeks and then discontinue use for two weeks. By the end of the second week, your normal sleep quality will return and you will be able to accurately reflect upon the difference. Have an experience you'd like to tell us about? Sleep Cream where?
Chest
Any area where we have high blood flow is a beneficial application point. It is not uncommon to learn of customers than no longer apply in multiple spots, but simply rub the same amount directly on their chest.
Wrists
The skin on the underside of the wrist is perfect for transdermal delivery. The skin here is thin and we also have numerous blood vessels near the skin surface.
Soles of Feet
The soles of our feet have thick skin, however there is a concentration of sweat glands on the soles of the feet, which makes our feet a great application site.
Thighs
The skin on the inside or "inner thigh", is slightly thinner and blood vessels are near the surface of the skin. This a great place for transdermal absorption of magnesium chloride. Alternatively you may wish to try the backside of your knee for this same reason.
Neck
From customers feedback, anywhere on the neck seems to be effective. There is simply a tremendous amount of blood flow making the neck as effective as the chest.
Behind Ears
From the top of where the ear connects and down the side of the neck seems to be a very effective site.
When applying your Sleep Cream, it's essential to...
  • Clean the Skin: Ensure the skin is clean and free of lotions or oils that might create a barrier.

  • Massage or Rub In: Gently massage or rub in the magnesium solution to enhance absorption.

  • Rotate Application Sites: Rotate the application sites to prevent skin irritation and allow different areas to be exposed.

  • Start with a Patch Test: If you're using a new product, consider doing a patch test on a small area of skin to check for any adverse reactions.

It's worth noting that individual responses to transdermal magnesium applications can vary. If you have concerns or specific health conditions, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating transdermal magnesium into your routine

It's the morning after. How do you feel? Are you having a hard time waking up? Two things to keep in mind. One, did you awake on your own or by an alarm? You may need to go to bed earlier. Many people are not accustomed to a full night's sleep, then the alarm will pull you out of a deep phase of sleep. However, two, you may have used too much or need to alter where you apply the lotion. Please don't give up! This phase is what we refer to getting "Dialed In".

Another area where your participation is crucial is cream application. It has amazed us how some people have responded by using the crream in ways we didn't anticipate, but customers have found success in a variety of ways: both sides of the neck, wrists, back of the knees, soles of the feet, chest, and any combination. We have testimonies from people applying their cream totally different from what we recommended. Some people have done so, because they woke up feeling groggy or they didn't think it was working. Don't give up for at least three weeks! In our experience people either simply feel the difference or they see the data and KNOW its working.
